| Oh! The Latest Topic box...okie dokie...
Yeah, I think that blue is a good choice, too. And I even made different text sizes a little bigger so they would be a bit easier to see, given the color. Small text just doesn't look good in bright or lighter colors...lol |

| Well Gang am off to Karate Camp this Weekend. Can't wait. We go up North about an hour away from here near Lake Simcoe. My Second year going.
Aweee sweet Harvey sent me an e-mail saying "Have a good time at Camp, be careful, and don't overdo it." Then he said he might come up on Sunday for the last day of Camp. Cool.
He's such a nice guy. I like him. He looks out for me in Class and helps me when I need it. He takes the "guiding of the Lower Ranks" very seriously. Man I love Karate.
See you all later. _________________ BE A HERO TO YOURSELF

| Wow Megan! The site is so different...looks very cool. It sounds like it's been very hard for you to tweak this one to different colors. I wonder how David does his? Could it be a template? Thanks for all the work you put into minigeek for us! *hugs* And, the Latest Topic Box doesn't work for me. I dont' see anything scrolling down.
@AL Hey sweetie! *hugs* Sounds like you had a great time seeing RDA. I've never met him. It would be soooo cool! That's great that you'll meet many of the Aussie Squirrels!
Yes, I am going to DragonCon. I know a lot of the Squirrels are going to be there. I've met many of them already at other cons. It will be great to meet the new ones!
@Ekorre Hey you! It's been really hopping on Dragoncave...I got quite a few new eggs. I can't believe I forgot I had other scrolls. Oh...wait...um...those are my sons scrolls...heehee...yeah! That's the ticket! *evil grin*
@nanook Karate camp sounds like it will be lot's of fun for you! Have a good time!

| You don't see the links in the LT Box? Great...
Well, I have absolutely no idea how to fix that. I could shut it off for a day or so, then turn it back on. You know, kinda reset it. I've been on miniGeek on multiple different browsers, so I don't think that would be the problem...
Anyways, as for the look, thanks. Before, I was tweeking the colors to make it personalized, but now this is just a template from a site called 'hotskins'. |

| Yeah, the links in the LT box are not there for me. Also, I don't see how you give karma either. Could it be the skin that is limiting these things? Lol...as you can tell, I don't know much about web design. I kinda influenced my son into taking a web design class next year in high school. And, yes I'm am eveeel as I plan on having him teach me what he learns! LOL _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup

| Karate Camp was so much fun. Had a blast.
I am still a 5th Kyu (2nd Green Belt) I was advised not to do the Grading by both Harvey and Sempai Domenic. I actually was fearing it this time and having severe anxiety and panic about it. They saw the flags and sat me down and had a little talk with me. Aweee those two are so sweet, they saw me in crisis and pulled me out of it. Sempai Domenic was so concerned about me. That week was such a hell of a week. Those two are the most awesome guys. I really like them. My next Grading is not until December. _________________ BE A HERO TO YOURSELF

| Isn't this guy cute? This is my buddy Harvey, minus the shades this time. He's really nice too. He's going for Second Dan (Shodan) Level. We help each other out before/after/during Class. _________________ BE A HERO TO YOURSELF

| Funny Karate Moment this Weekend
We do have funny moments in Karate. It's not all serious all the time.
I was Sparring against Henry (new 6th Kyu). He's a great guy, really nice and gentle with me. Which is rare at that Level. It takes some a long time to gain control. He respects my Rank and Gender. The guys when Sparring against girls they have to tone their attacks down and not hit us so much nor hard. We were having a great time Sparring. I stopped pointed towards the ceiling and said "Look at that Henry". He did not buy that one. Anyway Harvey walks in and started to be big Brother to me.
Fran keep your hands up Fran keep your thumbs closed Fran keep your fingers closed Fran protect your head Fran do three Techniques Fran try for a 4th Technique Fran don't stamp your feet Fran breathe Fran this Fran that
I stopped in mid Sparring and looked over at Harvey and said "Feel free to jump in and save me anytime here Harvey"
Harvey replied "N'ah why take away your fun, besides you looking rather good there."

| I love how when they look for someone to do something for the Club nobody seems interested in Volunteering. Once at Green Belt we all have to start lending a hand. Sempai Riadh was looking for someone to hand out/collect payment for the Syllabus Books. Nobody volunteered so I raised my hand. There is about 35 Green Belts now and all I ever see is the same one's helping out every time. Don't understand why nobody wants to "help".
There is about 5 of us Green Belts who actually do help the Club.
